Septembre Bourgogne-Chardonnay 2021

Limpid and noble in aspect, this wine boasts gorgeous, pale yellow colour tinged with gold. Superb, expressive, heady nose reminiscent of barley sugar, hard candy, lemon tart, and pastries with meringue. Then come refreshing notes of linden blossom and freshly cut hay. The round start to the palate is endowed with richness that is balanced by pleasing acidity. This wine’s depth lends an impression of silkiness and pleasantly refreshing acidity. The finish features tangy green apple notes. This incredibly complex wine is one of the great Burgundy whites.
